Agnipath Yojana: Congress satyagraha at Jantar Mantar
New Delhi: The fire brigade announced by the central government for recruitment in the army is now being opposed across the country. Not only the protesters, but also the young people who were seen protesting. The Congress has come to the fore today. The party is holding a sit-in at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi. Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, who was joined by several senior party leaders in the protest, targeted the BJP government in a post on Twitter.
Rahul Gandhi wrote on Twitter that the central government was cheating the unemployed in the country in the name of repeated employment. The Modi government is forcing the country’s unemployed youth to walk on fire. He added that during the four years of his rule, the Modi government had been distributing the knowledge that only young people could be raised. “Only the prime minister is responsible for the situation in the country,” said RJD leader Tejaswi Yadav.
He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this great task: “One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure … there are going to be some difficult decisions for government”. In addition, the Modi government should take into account the concerns of the youth of the country as to what is really going on in the scheme.
