BALESWAR: World Theater Day was observed on Sunday by the leading theater company ‘Shova’ in the premises of the local Gandhi Smriti Bhavan in Balasore. The event was presided over by Siddharth Sarathi Das, President of Shobha. As the chief guest, Drs. Pradeep Bhowmik and Suranjan Das Mohapatra addressed the gathering as distinguished guests. On this occasion, Guru Nand Kishore Das was honored with World and National Day honors. The play was composed by Bhaskar Chandra Mohapatra and directed by Arnab Kumar Kar. It starred Shubhkar, Ashish, Laxmikant, Chandrashekhar, Madanmohan, Promotes, Devananda, Subrata, Madhusmita and Sajni while Ramakant Das composed the lyrics. Guru Nand Kishore Das also directed and directed the music. Laxmi Ghosh convened the forum while Ramchandra Mohapatra presided over the forum. Ajay Kumar Acharya moderated the light.
