The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the Bank Holidays List for January next year. Banks will be closed for 14 days in January, the first month of New Year ie 2023. This list of holidays also includes Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. Apart from this, there will be no bank operations in view of some festivals and special days. So if you have some urgent work in the bank next month then check the holiday list before it.

Banks will not be closed for 14 days in the coming month. Banks will be closed in those areas where there is a list of holidays by RBI due to festivals or other holidays.

Holiday list issued for the month of December…

Banks across the country will remain closed on Sunday, January 1
January 2- Banks will be closed in Mizoram due to New Year holidays
Banks will be closed in Mizoram on the occasion of January 11- Missionary Day
January 12- Banks will be closed in West Bengal on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary
January 14th – Bank will be closed due to second Saturday
Banks across the country will be closed on January 15 – Sunday
January 16- Banks will be closed in Puducherry and Tamil Nadu on the occasion of Uzhavar Thirunal, while banks will be closed in Andhra Pradesh on the occasion of Kanuma Panduga.
January 22 – Banks across the country will be closed due to Sunday
January 23- Banks will be closed in Assam on the occasion of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary
Banks will be closed in Himachal Pradesh on the occasion of January 25- King Day
Banks across the country will be closed on January 26 – Republic Day
January 28- Bank will be closed due to fourth Saturday
Banks across the country will be closed due to Sunday, January 29
January 31- Banks will be closed in Assam due to Me-Dam-Me-Phi

If you have any work in the bank, get it done immediately. If you have any work left in the bank and you have not been able to complete it, then you can do it through online banking.
