Bravo was the highest wicket-taker in the IPL
New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings star all-rounder Diane Bravo has made history in the IPL. He has become the highest wicket-taker in IPL history. He achieved this by taking Deepak Hooda’s wicket against Lucknow last Thursday. He has also overtaken Lasith Malinga. Malinga took 140 wickets while Bravo took 181 wickets. In this match, Bravo took one wicket for 35 runs in 4 overs. He could have taken one wicket only on the power play. But Moin Ally quit the catch of Quinton de Cock.
Bravo has so far played 153 matches in the IPL. He bowled a total of 43.3 overs and took 181 wickets. He also bowled two maiden overs and scored 4111 runs. He has also taken more than four wickets twice. He has an economy of 6.39. Among the other bowlers, Amit Mishra came in third with 16 wickets, Piyush Chawla fourth with 156 wickets and Harbhajan Singh sixth with 150 wickets.
