Cuttack: Odisha men and women team participated in the 13th National Chocball Championship held at Anukully from 2nd to 4th of Uttar Pradesh Chocball Association and returned to Odisha on 7th after performing well. Under the leadership of Odisha Chocball Association President Kshirod Kumar Sahu and General Editor Amarendra Behera, Swayam Kiran Sahu (captain), Debbrat Sharma, MD Atif Alli, Bipin Naik, Parjan Riaz, Madhusudan Behera, Rohit Sharma, Sharda Prasanna Sahu, Rakesh Mallick, Deepak Behera in the men’s team. , Jayaprakash Swayum, Shubham Behera and manager Vishwanath Manigahri and coach SK Asif while the women’s team consisted of Prabhasini Ojha (captain), Sonali Sahu, Swayamprabha Mallik, Payal Priyadarshan Kavi, Beauty Naik, Rayansha Priyadarshan, Niharika Das, Shubadharshini Das, Kiran Mala Sahu. Men’s teams from 24 states and women’s teams from 19 states participated in this competition. Odisha men’s team drew with Jharkhand and won Goa while losing to Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.
