AHMEDABAD: The Rajasthan Royals and Gujarat Titans played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday in the final of the Indian Premier League (IPL) -2022 final. Gujarat made history in this match. Gujarat won the trophy in their first season after losing to Rajasthan. Hardik’s team defeated the Rajasthan Royals by 7 wickets in the final to win the toss and elected to bat. On the other hand, Rajasthan, the first winner of the IPL season 7, played in the final after 19 years and were unable to clinch the title.

Rajasthan captain Sanju Samson and Toss Gini decided to bat first. The Gujarat Titans bowled impressively from the start. All the bowlers in the team bowled well. With this wicket, Chahal has taken the Purple Cap again in his own name. Butler also scored an Orange cap with 63 runs. However, the Gujarat Titans have won the IPL in 2022.
