IPL-2022: Rahul and Mavi set Troubling Records Again

Pune: KL Rahul and Shivam Mavi, two Indian players who played against each other in the IPL-2022 on Saturday, have set a personal record. Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul is out for zero for the third time this season.

Rahul, who was twice dismissed for the first ball against the Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals in Wankhede, was run out before facing a ball at the Maharashtra Cricket Association4 Stadium in Pune on Saturday. Lucknow lost both matches in Wankhede.

Shivam Mavi, the young bowler who bowled the 16th over of the Lucknow innings, was bowled out for five and scored a total of 30 runs. Marcus Stoinis was bowled out for the first 3 balls and was dismissed for the fourth ball. However, Jason Holwood was able to hit the last two balls.

For Kolkata Knight Riders, it was the highest run-over over in IPL4 history. The two-time winners scored 24 runs in 2016 in Kolkata against the Rajasthan Royals and 28 runs against the Delhi Capitals in Delhi that year. The biggest connection is that all three of these bowlers were Shivam Mavi.
