Meanwhile, students around the world are feeling the pressure as they prepare for exams. It’s normal to feel anxious or panicked before an exam, but it’s important to work hard and revise effectively to make sure you pass.
Here are some crucial tips for preparations and revisions ahead of the exam:
Stick to the plan/schedule
One of the most important things to keep in mind while preparing for a competitive exam is to study on a regular schedule. In order to maintain consistency in your studies, it is important to create a study routine and stick to it every day. This will help you develop a positive study habit and manage your time more effectively.
Effective Revision
Aspirants should study diligently and cover all the subjects well in advance. If they finish the syllabus on schedule, they will have plenty of time for revision – an important part of preparations. They should identify specific topics and make a list of all topics and materials that need to be reviewed before the upcoming test. It is advisable to schedule specific days and times to review the materials and topics.
Mock Test
Mock tests are a great way to prepare for any exam. They help you get used to the format of the test, and also help you learn how to manage your time effectively. It is important to focus on your weaker subjects, so that you can excel in the test.
A big NO to Social Media
Last but not the least, stay away from social media throughout your preparations. Social media is one of those friends who is always willing to distract us from studying. Once you take a 15 min break for WhatsApp and Facebook, there’s no coming back. You will end up spending a long stretch of time on social media, thus disrupting your entire study cycle and schedule.
