Odisha Third in National Forest Resources: Chief Minister

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik lauded the forest workers at the state-level conference of Bhubaneswar forest officials. Inaugurating the program, the Chief Minister praised the work of forest workers during the corona. Naveen said various steps have been taken to protect wildlife. The state has increased forest cover by 33.50%. At the national level, our state Odisha ranks third. “It simply came to our notice then.

At the conference, the chief minister lauded the work of the forest workers and said that his work had been successful. This has been made possible by the vigilance of forest workers. As before, forest fires have dropped by 50 percent. Special attention is paid to the protection of forests and the protection of wildlife. Gazans have been deployed to alert people to elephant protection. Minister for Forests and Environment Vikram Keshari Arukh also made a statement at the event. He encouraged ordinary people as well to take part in solving this great task: “One of the things you and other people can do is keep up the pressure … there are going to be some difficult decisions for government”. In 2021-22, 60,217 tourists have arrived.
