Bhubaneswar: The summer heat wave is slowly increasing in the state. The temperature is rising day by day. Today, temperatures in more than eight places in the state are above 40 degrees Celsius. Samwalpur is the hottest city with a temperature of 40.4 degrees Celsius. Jharsuguda had a low of 40.8 degrees Celsius, while Balangir had a low of 40.4 degrees Celsius.

The Buddhist temperature is 40.5 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature was recorded at 40 degrees Celsius in Baripada, 38.6 degrees Celsius in Titilagarh, 40.8 degrees Celsius in Hirakud, 38.5 degrees Celsius in Bhawanipatna, 38.6 degrees Celsius in Sonepur and 38.1 degrees Celsius in Anugul.
