Senior serviceman Krishnachandra Pratihari was shot dead
Puri: Shaking in Shrikshetra. Senior serviceman Krishnachandra Pratihari was shot dead Pratihari was a former member of the management committee of the shrine and the editor of the Swar Mahaswara Recruitment. He turned his shotgun on himself when apprehended by a police officer on the porch of the house where the shootings took place. Police are investigating.
Krishnachandra was reportedly killed near Barabati Jaga under Puri Town police station today Krishnachandra Pratihari was involved in the much-hyped Gun Singhari murder case. He was arrested in connection with the killings, but was released on bail. According to preliminary information, Krishnachandra was in charge of improving the Barabati area. Suddenly some miscreants came there this morning and shot two rounds in the head from close range. He was rushed to Puri Sadar Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at the scene. But there the doctor pronounced Krishnachandra dead. Police are investigating.
