Shivani, a nurse working at MKCG, has been nominated for the National Florence Nightingale Award.

Berhampur: Shivani Das, a nurse working at MKCG Medical College Hospital8, has been nominated for the National Florence Nightingale Award. The Council of Nursing of India has recommended that the award be given to Shivani for the year 2021. Shivani will be the first female nurse from MKCG to receive the award from the President. Shivani Das, 50, has been nominated for the country’s highest nursing honor by the Indian Nursing Council to honor her dedication to the profession.

Shivani Das, a nurse at MKCG, was well-known for serving patients during the corona epidemic. He played a key role in providing essential services to the corona victims treated at Ganjam Shitalapalli Kovid Hospital. Similarly, at MKCG Covid Hospital, Shivani’s role in shaving and decorating corona patients was crucial. The work of health workers and doctors and nurses during the Covid era is also commendable. During the first wave of infections in Ganjam district, nurses working at MKCG Medical Center set milestones in saving lives and providing them with the right services.

The Indian Nursing Council has selected Shivani as one of the five recommended by the MKCG authorities. “I am serving and serving the patients and all the patients who come to the hospital should be healed and returned home,” said Shivani.
