Cuttack: The Orissa High Court has issued a notice to the Odisha government seeking its response in the case of missing key of Puri Shri Jagannath Temple ‘Ratna Bhandar’.

The High Court, while hearing a petition filed by one Dilip Baral of Puri seeking direction to make public the report of the Justice Raghubir Das inquiry commission, served notice to the Chief Secretary and the Law Secretary to submit their response in the matter.

The petitioner alleges that the State Government has not followed the Commission of Inquiry Act.

Baral has alleged in his petition that the Justice Raghubir Das Commission of Inquiry has not made it public despite submitting its report to the Law Department after probing the disappearance of the Ratna Bhandar key.

Accepting the petition, the High Court has served notice to the opposition parties.

The High Court has fixed July 10 as the next date for hearing the matter.
