Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Bus Owners’ Association, which has called for a bus strike on July 1 over various demands, has decided to suspend it. The bus strike has been suspended until July 31. Devendra Sahu, general secretary of the Bus Owners’ Association, said the bus strike had been suspended following a rally. The union has appealed to the state government to meet the demand by July.

If the government does not meet its demands by July, the bus owners’ union will go on strike again in August. Mr Sahu had earlier appealed to the union to suspend the strike.
