New Delhi: The film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ has faded at the box office. The film, starring Akshay Kumar, was released on June 3. The film stars Akshay Kumar in the role of Preetiraj Chauhan. She has also been spotted playing the role of Princess Sayongita, a former Miss World Man Chila who made her film debut. However, before the film’s release, there was controversy over its title. Not only that, but later in other states, including UP, the film was declared tax free. Despite this, the film did not do well at the box office.

Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ grossed Rs 10.40 crore at the box office on India’s first day. However, no good results were found on the second day. According to media reports, the film grossed Rs 12.30 crore in India. The film has so far grossed Rs 23 crore at the domestic box office. Most importantly, Akshay’s film Bachchan Pandey opened at the box office with Rs 13 crore. In addition, ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ did only Rs 10 crore in the first day. By the way, Kamal Haasan’s Vikram is hitting Akshay Kumar’s film. The film grossed Rs 80 crore to Rs 50 crore on its first day.
