The SRC has Instructed District Governors in 10 Districts to be Vigilant for the Summer

Bhubaneswar: The state has been experiencing unbearable summer heat since March. With the onset of summer in the state, the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) has instructed the district governors of 10 districts to be vigilant.

SRGC Pradeep Kumar Jena has written to the district magistrates of Anugul, Balasore, Boudh, Balangir, Jharsuguda, Khordha, Mayurbhanj, Nayagarh, Sambalpur and Sonepur to prepare for the summer floods. Alerts were issued for the 10 districts from 9:30 a.m. today to 9:30 a.m. tomorrow. Children, the elderly and the sick are advised not to leave the house.

Anyone who left the house between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Those who do not have urgent work at noon have been told not to leave the house. Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir, Anugul, Nayagarh, Khordha, Balasore, Mayurbhanj, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda districts from Sonepur, Boudh, Balangir, Anugul, Jharsuguda district from 17th to 16th. . Due to the heat wave, the Department of Transportation has been shutting down buses since Monday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The bus station has been asked to keep clean drinking water and ORSS and open an umbrella at the bus stand.
