What is cirrhosis of the liver ?

Liver cirrhosis is a disease of liver cells. This is the last stage of liver disease. In this disease, tissue like black marks are formed inside the liver. This black mark in the liver is called fibrotic tissue. When this tissue builds up, the liver’s immune system is reduced. Normal tissue is affected due to fibrosis.

Why:

The main cause of cirrhosis of the liver is drinking alcohol for a long time. Drinking alcohol for years causes such diseases. People who consume drugs like heroin also get this disease. Accumulation of fat in the liver increases the disease.

Symptoms:

Liver cirrhosis causes fatigue. Patients with liver cirrhosis feel weak. Appetite is less in case of illness. Unexplained weight loss. Nausea and vomiting. Feet and hands turn red. There is pain in the right side of the lower abdomen.

As the disease progresses, the symptoms change. The body is scratched, itchy. The lower part of the leg starts to swell. Diseases like jaundice occur. A cut anywhere in the body slows down the bleeding. A change in behavior is seen in older people. Bleeding from the lower part of the stomach, vein, esophagus.

Remedy:

There is no permanent cure for this disease. Patients are not allowed to drink alcohol. A healthy diet is recommended. It is said to eat fruits and vegetables. Emphasis is placed on maintaining body weight. Safe physical contact is recommended.
