The beautiful Parineeti Chopra finally announced her engagement to AAP youth leader Raghav Chadha at a private ceremony at Kapurthala House in Delhi. The event was attended by close friends and family, who all cheered as the happy couple exchanged rings.

Global icon Priyanka Chopra, cousin of Parineeti Chopra, flew all the way from London to make her presence felt in her sister’s engagement ceremony. The engagement was a grand affair with the presence of many biggies of the film industry and Delhi politics.

Meanwhile, a throwback video of Parineeti Chopra claiming that she would never marry a politician has resurfaced online. The actress, who is now all set to tie the knot with her long-time boyfriend, says that she has changed her mind and is ready to marry a politician.

Parineeti Chopra was recently asked about the ideal celebrities she would choose as her life partner. Without a second though, Pari replied that she would marry actor Brad Pitt. When asked about why she chose Pitt, Parineeti said that he is the most good-looking man she has ever seen and she would love to be his wife.

When asked which politician she would marry, she replied, “The problem is I don’t want to marry any politician. I have so many good options, but I don’t want to marry any politician. They’re all so corrupt.”

She also added that she wanted her life partner to make her laugh, smell great, and respect her.

“I love traveling and being near water. I love diving and feeling at one with the ocean. I’m attracted to men who are self-sufficient and have made their lives themselves.

Twitter is having a field day with hilarious memes targeting the actress for her previous statement.

“Women always do the opposite of what they say,” commented a user. “It’s just something about them.”

Another user wrote, “Money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a lot of things that make happiness a lot more likely.”
