World Test Championship points list: Australia at the top
The first Test match between Rawalpindi and Pakistan was between Australia and Australia. Following the draw, B Pat Cummins led the Australian team to the top spot in the ICC World Test Championship points standings. Pakistan, led by Babur Azam, retains the second position.
India won the first Test in Mohali by a huge margin. Even then, India is lower than Pakistan in the points table. Australia topped the list with 4.7 per cent, followed by Pakistan with 7.6 per cent.
Australia have not lost a single match so far this season. Sri Lanka is third and South Africa is fourth. The Indian team tops the list with 54.18 per cent. India have so far scored 75 points. But in the points table, the rankings are based on the winning percentage. That is why India is still lagging behind Pakistan like Pakistan. This is the second edition of the World Test Championship, which runs from 2021 to 2023. If they win the Test match, the team will get 12 points, the draw will be 6 points and the tie will be 7 points. At the same time, the match score will be 100 percent, the tie will be 50 percent and the draw will be 33.33 percent. The two-match series has a total of 25 points and the five-match series has 40 points.
