New Delhi: Mohammad Zubair, the co-founder of Alt News, a fact-checking website that detects truth and lies, has been arrested. Delhi Police arrested him on Monday for hurting religious sentiments. Zubair has been sent to one-day police custody by the magistrate. It was said on behalf of Zubair that the copy of the FIR was not given. As the ‘true news’ of Zubair’s arrest started spreading on social media, several opposition leaders started targeting the government.
